Pastors Alf and Yvonne
YVONNE KENDRICK
Born in Neath, South Wales, where her father was an Elim Minister, without any musical training, she taught herself to read music. At the age of eleven she sang solo in the Royal Albert Hall, London, for an Easter convention. When her parents moved to Lancashire, Yvonne joined the Merseyside Youth for Christ choir and sang solo for them at many venues including the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. After 20 years in itinerant Ministry, visiting places around the world, God called them to Canada and ultimately to pioneer Lakes Community Church, Bobcaygeon.
ALF & YVONNE
Over the years God has blessed Alf & Yvonne in so many ways. With His words of prophecy and the demand for the Ministry, Alf joined Yvonne in full time service for the Lord. Since then their travels have taken them around the world three times, mainly into America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and also into parts of Europe.
Yvonne was one of the main speakers and singers at a large convention in Dallas, Washington D.C. and Chicago, as well as many churches across the U.S.A. and Canada. Her Ministry now includes 'Women's Aglow', 'Christian Viewpoint' and ladies retreats and camps. She has the ability to cross over denominational barriers. She organised a ladies' retreat with over 300 ladies in attendance from all over the U.K. and from many different denominations.
Alf has spoken at many F.G.B.M.F.I. dinners and men's meetings around the world. He shares his testimony of the Grace of God and healing in his life. Both of them are ordained with the 'Independant Assemblies of God International Canada' and the 'International Ministers' Forum', U.S.A.
They are available for Church Ministry, Ladies' Retreats and Outreach Ministry in Word and Song.
